My husband recently went to Japan and while he was there he bought a bunch of t-shirts for our girl. They are HILARIOUS! He said that the shop had Japanese and English versions of each shirt. I plan on taking pictures of her wearing each of them. This one was the smallest and her favorite (she loves dogs), so it had to be the first one. As you can see, something was definitely lost in translation…under the “whole” weenie dog the shirt says: “How do I look? Don’t look so surprised.” So random, especially for a baby.

I got to photograph the cutest boys! I won’t tell you what I had to say to them to get so many smiles…but it sure was funny! They let me get so many cute photos. Enjoy your preview, Mom and Dad.

I took my baby girl out for a shoot the other day. She’ll be 15 months tomorrow! I bought this dress before I ever even knew I was going to have a second baby. It’s been hanging in my closet for a few years and I was thrilled to finally get to photograph her in it.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted any photos….I’ve been very busy. I decided it was time for an update on my kiddos. Brendan turned 5 this past weekend and he let me get a couple of shots of him before he ran off to play with all his new toys. He kept giving my the serious tough guy face!
And, here are a couple more shots from this weekend. Evie fell asleep on the floor in the playroom…it was the perfect photo op!
of course I had to make big brother get in one of the shots too!

Locks of Love

Well, I finally did it. I chopped my hair off and donated it to Locks of Love (www.locksoflove.org). If you don’t know what the LoL organization is about please check out their site. They take long hair donations to make wigs for children who are born with a disorder that prevents them from being able to grow hair. This is my third donation and I love doing this so much! It gives me an excuse to be adventurous with my hairstyle! Here is my before and after:
